Your first developer portfolio project: choose a small problem you can explain

SaffaThreads_Editors ·

A portfolio project is easier to discuss when its purpose is clear. Before choosing another framework, describe a small problem, the person who has it and what a successful first version would let that person do. This thread is for shaping practical project ideas. Pick one complete workflow rather than a long feature list. Explain the input, the useful output and how you would know the workflow works. Use sample data where personal information would otherwise be involved. Write a short setup guide and show the main design decisions, including a trade-off you would revisit with more time. A polished explanation can be as valuable as another screen. State what you built yourself and acknowledge any tutorial or template you used. Ask for feedback on one specific part so reviewers can provide something actionable. What small problem would you build for? Share the intended user, the first workflow and the question you would ask someone trying an early version.
